High Altitude and Kitchen Tables

We are in Flagstaff, Arizona this weekend, crammed around a small kitchen table finalizing the CAD (computer-aided design) images of zoomstand. Fueled by espresso and Malbec, we have been able to finesse the design details and incorporate some awesome new features.

The zoomstand is designed to work with nearly every size of notebook, netbook, laptop, tablet and mobile device you can think of and even the highly anticipated Apple iPad mini.

For example, if you own a 15″ laptop, a Kindle, and an iPad with a keyboard attachment and use all three throughout the day, you’ll only need zoomstand to write e-mails on your laptop, surf the internet on the iPad and read a book on your Kindle, no matter if you want to sit, stand or lounge on the couch.

Our simple design and ability for the zoomstand to adapt to any device you are using, wherever you want to use it is why we know you’ll love the zoomstand.

It’s times like this when we both really wish we already had a zoomstand to work on.

Until then, a few big announcements:

  • We will be debuting the zoomstand at Eureka Park during CES in January 2013, which is the world’s largest annual trade show for consumer technology products and accessories. This will give us tons of press and exposure to the products that zoomstand is made to work in unison with.
  • We joined Shopify’s Build a Business Contest, which is an annual contest for startups to out-do each other and go from zero to hero in six months while working with some of the most respected entrepreneurs as personal mentors. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to participate in the contest due to Arizona’s contest regulations, but we are still participating despite the fact we aren’t eligible for the $50,000 grand prize.

We still can’t release any images of the zoomstand quite yet – but rest assured you’ll be the first to see them when we do!

We want to thank you for being interested in zoomstand and ask you to help spread the word with any family or friends that love to use their mobile devices as much as we do.

P.S. – While you are waiting for our next awesome update, please check us out on Facebook or Twitter.
