Chris and I (collectively, the Chris’s) sat down a few weeks ago and hashed out the details of what the ideal mobile laptop and tablet stand would accomplish. The idea struck several years ago and never went away and the need for a device such as what the zoomStand would become more apparent as time went on. We set our design goals to ensure the zoomStand can work with any device, anywhere you go. We’ve been stuck uncomfortably in airports, in canyons and even in our own homes without a solution on how to continue using our laptop or tablet without discomfort.
We hope to end this dilemma. The issue with the rest of the products on the market is that they are too centric around a specific mobile device or position. Whether it is a desk riser for a laptop or a simple hands free holder for an iPad, it requires multiple accessories for separate devices and is cumbersome to use. There is a simpler solution and we will find it.
